As the team prepares to move into our new home, we are now looking for some more friendly faces to join the team.
Moderators are responsible for undertaking day-to-day operations at MOD. including: interpreting exhibitions; guiding visitors through the museum experience; providing retail and administrative assistance at the MOD.Shop; and coordination of volunteer moderators. Moderators will be the first point of call for visitors at MOD. and the MOD.Shop.
To be successful in this role, you will have post-secondary qualifications such as Certificate III in a relevant area, or demonstrated equivalent knowledge and skills. We’re looking for people who enjoy customer service and working with a wide range of people. You will have experience in customer service such as front of house, hospitality or retail, with an interest in communicating complex ideas in an approachable way.
These casual Moderator positions are enable by the generous support of the Investigator Science & Technology Centre Board.
