Are you our new Project Officer: Communications?
We’re looking for someone to fill the role of our Project Officer: Communications. You will support the team at MOD. on a range of communication and marketing strategies including developing and scheduling social media content, marketing programs, activities and events and supporting the implementation of exhibition advertising campaigns. You’ll be the type of person who is passionate about brand engagement, copywriting and social media management and can plan, strategise and collaborate to improve overall brand experience.
MOD. is a strategic venture for the University of South Australia, aspiring to be Australia’s leading future-focused museum, provoking new ideas at the intersection of science, art and innovation. We aim to engage nationally on science and science outreach. Our focus is inspiring young adults to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering and maths, so that they continue an on-going relationship with these disciplines throughout their lifetime.
Skills and Experience
You will have an undergraduate degree in a discipline area such as marketing, communications, public relations, tourism, or project management, or similar experience in a communications or operations role. Strong writing skills, basic graphic design skills, and the ability to source and produce content for print and digital applications is also required.
Your highly developed interpersonal and relationship building skills, together with your ability to work effectively with a diverse range of people and cultures at a variety of levels will ensure your success in this role. You will also demonstrate a keen analytical ability along with the capacity to interpret conceptual and complex information and deliver it in an understandable fashion.
