Work Experience ’22

Work experience '22

Work experience placements give high school students an introduction to workplaces, ideally in their areas of interest. These opportunities allow students to research directions for their futures, and connect them with diverse domains, organisations, and people. This year, we were happy to welcome eight year 10 and 11 students to MOD., and share our expertise and experience with them.

Over two weeks, students participated in everyday activities, and spent time alongside MOD. staff. They joined progress meetings, and interviews with artists and researchers, as well as assisted in organising our Open Lab space. One of their reported highlights was spending time with our Moderators setting up the galleries, and talking to visitors about the exhibits. Both weeks were rounded out by a zine making session, to reflect on their time at MOD. You can enjoy the students’ records below.
