Work experience placements are a great opportunity to give high school students an insight into the workplace. They support students to learn new schools, work on projects, and begin to consider the sorts of things they are interested in pursuing in their futures. This year, we were really excited to be able to host eight year 10 and 11 students for their work experience placements.
The students participated in meetings, worked on a project for our 2021 National Science Week programming, visited some other institutions on North Terrace, and shadowed our Moderators. Both weeks finished by a zine making session to reflect on their weeks, check some of them out below.
