Join us for an In Conversation with The Unbound Collective as part of the SALA Festival we will delve into what it means to be present in shadows of absence, silence, and invisibility.

What are the ideas that we can collectively bind ourselves to and what are the ideas that can set us free?

The Unbound Collective and Kaurna collaborators invite you to share in a series of slow, small-flow moments. Engage in some digital deep-listening of place that honours Karrawirra Parri. This work reflects the shimmering light and shade of a long story, attending to traces of beauty and love in deep lessons from Country.

The Unbound Collective: we are a group of artists/academics working out of Flinders University on Kaurna Yarta. Our work embraces complex questions of what it means to be sovereign peoples – Yidinyji/ Mbarbram, Yankunytjatjara, Narungga, Mirning – and exist both within and outside of the institutionalisation of the colonial settler state that continually seeks to categorise and contain them.

The Collective Include Ali Gumillya Baker, Simone Ulalka Tur, Faye Rosas Blanch and Natalie Harkin.
