Join our two speakers as unpack the blind spots in many systems from child protection to medical research.

Kelly Ryan is a PhD Candidate in child protection law, unpacking the legal rights, risks, and responsibilities of foster carers to improve the lives of children in care. Kelly won the UniSA Image of Research for 2020, her image, Ring a Ring o’ Roses is currently being displayed in our exhibition along the corridor on level 1. Wendy Ingman is a breast health expert and frequently provides commentary and professional education for the community and healthcare sectors on breast issues including breast cancer and breastfeeding. She leads collaborative research across disciplinary boundaries that integrates biomedical, clinical and public health approaches. Wendy is passionate about the importance of community education and advocates for women to be well-informed about how to take control of their own breast health.
